  • We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with experience in the construction industry and proficiency in Deltek software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Utilize Deltek ERP software to manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

    2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple construction projects.

    3. Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    4. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

    5. Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

    6. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

    7. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to track project expenses and ensure budget compliance.

    8. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with clients to collect outstanding payments as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 4-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.

    • Proficiency in Deltek software is preferred

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

    • Familiarity with construction project accounting and job costing concepts is a plus.
