  • People First is looking for a Business Banking Administrator to join the team! The Business Banking Administrator provides support to the Business Banking Manager and Loan Officer by performing a wide variety of duties to help in the loan approval, renewal, documentation, and closing and settlement process. Assembles and prepares letters, documents, and reports. Answers questions and resolves issues regarding business loan servicing. Provides consistent quality service to both internal and external members that meets or exceeds the Credit union's standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with relationship managers to facilitate the workflow of pending loans and ensure the proper booking of commercial loans.
    • Responsible for preparing loan documents in addition to other loan supporting documents.
    • Prepare commercial loan payoffs and filing of satisfaction pieces to ensure proper release of recorded mortgages.
    • Maintain the appropriate filing systems for the department.
    • Provide support to the branches with business account types and small business products and services.
    • Comply with Credit Union's Business Lending Policy and related NCUA guidelines.
    • Responsible for establishing new business accounts and compliance with BSA.
    • Work with Operations team on issuing new business credit cards.
    • Assume responsibility for the effective performance of assigned administrative and clerical functions.
    • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with area staff and with management.
    • Responsible for maintaining effective business relations with members, vendors, and other business professionals.

    Hours:

    • Monday-Friday: 8:30 am-5 pm

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business/trade schoolOR equivalent experience
    • One to two years of loan processing experience is required
    • Commercial/Business lending, real estate lending, OR consumer lending experience is highly preferred
    • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications required
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Well organized which lends to the ability to coordinate various projects simultaneously, meet established guidelines and prioritize work tasks
    • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
