    The Business Development expert is a member of the Strategic Programs portfolio. The primary role will be to develop, sustain, and strengthen client relationships within Treasury/IRS and/or DOC/Census agencies. Knowledge of SEC and CFPB are beneficial, too. Position is based in the D.C. area and may require ad-hoc business travel. This position reports to the VP of Strategic Programs, accountable for identifying and qualifying growth opportunities and driving capture strategies. Special preference will be given to candidates who possess knowledge and understanding of agency organizations, key initiatives, and have relationships that enable connecting and communicating with agency decision-makers.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Collaborate with counterparts across HHG (including Mentor-Proteges and associated Joint Venture partners) to ensure best of breed solutions are brought forward to customers and that HHG is successfully represented for pursuits in the FedCiv market.

    · Advise HHG leadership and provide expertise in other new business matters including market analysis, capture planning, competitive intelligence, etc.

    · Participate in Business Development and Pipeline reviews to ensure solid value propositions, win strategies, call plans, etc., are effectively executed.

    · Be responsible for documenting and reporting on opportunities in the CRM tool.

    · Possess bachelor's degree in a related field.

    · Possess five (5) or more years of related experience in Business Development and Capture Management, working with Treasury/IRS and/or DOC/Census FedCiv customers.

    · Demonstrated track-record of winning new business with total contract value above $25M.

    · Demonstrable knowledge of Government personnel with effective client relationships to enable outreach and communications with POCs. · Prior use of SalesForce for CRM tracking.

    · Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).

    • Experience with Program Delivery, including customer relationship management, account/financial management, risk, and quality control, etc.

    • Experience with multiple types of government contracts (firm-fixed price, T&M, cost-plus, etc.) and full array of opportunity types (re-competes, new business, and takeaways).

    · Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and highly effective interpersonal skills to carry out daily interactions with technical leaders and business executives within the Corporation, and with customers, industry, and subcontractors.

    · Able to contribute to fast-paced business leadership teams.
