Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Designer for immediate start in Kodak, TN

? Description:

The Design group generates detailed design and engineering piping and component, supports and restraints (i.e., pipe hangers) drawings for standard component supports, restraints, and hanger products. Some familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III and ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code is desired. This position requires preparing and reviewing piping supports and restraints specifications, hanger load tables, and variable and constant spring hanger design tables when preparing and checking drawings.

Skills & Qualifications:

Very Good verbal communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage basic engineering tasks with multiple work phases

Demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality assurance procedures, national consensus Codes, industry standards, and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1
