IMAGINE ONE is now interviewing Civil Engineers for contract supporting the US Navy's Aircraft Carrier program from its field office in Portsmouth, Virginia. The work requires a degreed Civil Engineer who will be trained to perform analytical tasks under the direction of the government staff to support the activity's mission of ship life cycle management. The successful candidate Civil Engineer will receive training to provide technical support for the development and management of the aircraft carrier Class Maintenance Plan (CMP). This is accomplished by retrieving, organizing and analyzing system and component performance data, material condition data, and cost data to develop findings and recommendations for further staff action.

Here's more the Civil Engineer will receive essential training and experience, but not limited to the following duties:

• Provide technical support in the engineering principles, techniques and practices as they relate to aircraft carrier Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems; aviation support systems; and electronic systems.

• Retrieve, organize and analyze (e.g., maintenance, risk, material condition) data of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action.

• Provide technical support for the development and management of the non-nuclear CMP, Baseline Availability Work Packages (BAWP) and modernization for execution during CVN/aircraft carrier availabilities.

• Assist with development of new ship life cycle strategies.

Experience Requirements:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on data management and analysis.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering REQUIRED

Security Requirements:

• US citizenship REQUIRED

• DoD Secret clearance preferred, but may initiate clearance process for candidates who have U.S. Citizenship
