    Job Description:

    The Crippa CNC Coil Bender Technician works across multiple functions of the business to supply various configurations of Copper Tubing used in the Terminal and Coil businesses. The ideal candidate is proficient with computers, CNC machinery, and has experience working in manufacturing with an understanding of processes flow driven by information.

    Job Summary:

    • Programming X, Y, Z, etc. coordinates for various Distributor and Pipe configurations.

    • Calculating bend geometry, machine speeds, and adjusting pressures to produce parts.

    • Work with Engineering, Maintenance and Engineering technicians to operate and trouble shoot machine issues.

    • Must perform manual changeovers to accommodate multiple Tube diameter & configuration requirements.

    • Managing and auditing Tube Kanban system for Header Cell, Custom Header Cell, and Pipe Cell tube configurations.

    • Review drawings & parts to provide improvement suggestions to Engineering.

    • Work with extended teams on process improvements to reduce changeover time and work content.

    • Work in and create databases; Microsoft Office and Machine specific software.

    • Write Standard work and train others.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Proficient with reading Blueprints and/ or Technical Drawings.

    • Experience with CNC or Hydraulic Tube cutting and bending equipment.

    • Experience and knowledge of how tubes are bent, cut, and brazed; brazing experience a plus but not required.

    • Experience using calipers and measuring devices, power tools, and hand tools.

    • Proficient with Terminal and Coil Tube configurations

    • Understanding of the quality requirements of the customer.

    • Experience working in and creating databases is preferred; Microsoft Office, Machine Programming...

    • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

    • Able to work independently in a high paced work environment.

    • Experience or familiar with Parametric 3D modeling.

    • Ability to work weekends and weekday overtime to meet customer demand.

    • Adaptable - Adjusts to changing Demands, priorities, and objectives.

    • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple, varied tasks simultaneously.
