CNC Machinist

Our client in Niagara Falls, NY are seeking experienced CNC machinists to join their team, highly recognized within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined, possess a strong attention to detail and be well versed in set-up and operation.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Pay Range: Starting at $25.00 up to $35.00 (based on experience)

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

What's the Job?

• Operate CNC machines used to cut and shape precision workpieces used in the manufacturing of heat transfer products from solid to metal.

• Read and interpret blueprints and/or job orders to determine product specifications, tolling instructions and sequence of operations.

• Set-up fixture devices, start machine, feed tool to workpiece and engage feed as directed by supervisor.

• Utilize measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc) and small equipment to complete workpieces.

• Complete all required paperwork.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of CNC (Mill) job experience.

• Ability to perform simple to moderate level CNC machine set-up

• Skillset operating 3 and 5 axis machines (HAAS, Okuma)

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Reliable transportation, not on bus route.
