Commercial Real Estate/Lease Manager

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator based in Norfolk, Virginia. The role will involve key functions related to commercial real estate and lease management, with a focus on lease administration and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain property lease agreements and ensure adherence to lease terms

• Coordinate with tenants and handle lease-related inquiries and issues

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient lease administration

• Conduct periodic reviews of lease terms and negotiate renewals or modifications as necessary

• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records for properties

• Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all local and state property regulations

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve property-related issues

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial real estate industry trends and market conditions

• Develop and implement strategies for property management to meet organizational goals.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Property Administration within the Non-Profit sector

• Proven ability in Lease Administration

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate management

• Demonstrated expertise in Lease Negotiations

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in relevant property management software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
