A Communications Representative at SNC uses these tactics to help tell the SNC story - both internally and externally to a global audience - with an emphasis on B2B communications. As a member of a tightly knit team that spans the U.S., you will assist in creating informative and engaging content related to the aerospace industry, for use across platforms including social media, as well as research, measurement and reporting using industry standard tools and metrics.

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for reaching audiences through smart, creative, strategic communications. You need to be a quick learner, utility player and active contributor to a fun and smart team that looks for ways to support one another and make a difference for the company. Candidate must be highly organized, creative, articulate and possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

    As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Writing: Press releases, blogs, social media posts

    • Metrics: Regular monitoring of social media metrics; assist with monthly dashboard report and google analytics

    • Paid Media: Assist in coordination of advertising schedules and media outlet research

    • Social Media - Assist with basic account management and content generation; monitoring of brand-related issues across channels - Design - basic design skills for generation of social media content using supplied brand assets and guidelines

    Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, and typically 0-2 years or more of related work experience.

    • Familiarity with marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to include public relations, advertising, digital marketing and social media

    • General understanding of the process for producing press releases, brochures, and guides

    • Working knowledge of industry trends and best practices

    • Highly organized, creative, articulate, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

    • Social Media management, content generation and measurement with a focus on B2B

    • Excellent writing skills with working knowledge of AP Style

    • Experience working in tools such as Sprout Social, Muckrack, Meltwater, Cision or similar; Google and Facebook Analytics

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

    Preferred:

    • 2 or more years of Marketing, Public Relations/Branding or related experience , Agency preferred

    • Experience drafting and working with multi-media software

    • Passion for working in a marketing or communications role

    • Highly organized, creative, articulate, and have excellent interpersonal skills

    • Strong analytical and strategical mindset

    • Photography or videography skills

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:

    This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
