    Work you'll do

    As a Solution Delivery Lead, you will perform computer forensic services including digital evidence collection, preservation, analysis, data recovery, tape back-up and recovery and electronic mail extraction and database examination. Day to day responsibilities may include:

    • Identify strategic initiatives, seek ways to improve team efficiency and drive work performed by the team

    • Perform technical analyses and interpretations of computer-related evidence such as e-mail and information stored on electronic devices

    • Apply Chain of Custody procedures pertaining to forensic applications and concepts

    • Support the most complicated functional tasks, lead planning discussions and driving towards high quality and results for our clients

    • Provide timely and accurate updates on project status and security concerns to Computer Forensics management team and broader eDiscovery team

    • Maintain detailed written work logs and case documentation following forensic procedures

    • Ensure all lab hardware and software are verified and validated as required by the Federal Rules of Evidence

    • Show ownership of all tasks assigned, take accountability for the work while in your custody and ensure necessary details are provided to whom it is handed off to maintain consistency of process and quality

    • Examine Macintosh and Windows operating systems, PC hardware and mobile devices

    • Attend team and project meetings and assist with meeting preparation

    • Provide coverage for the EDSC's 24X7 operation by working days, nights, or weekends, including holidays, as needed

    The team

    Since 2008, Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory has operated an innovative high-tech facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. The Electronic Discovery Solutions Center (EDSC) is considered a leader in the industry and continues to increase capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory's electronic file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in a dedicated environment. The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Discovery practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer forensics, electronic discovery, or data analysis

    • Knowledge of computer forensics software, hardware, and methodologies, including use of tools such as Forensic Tool Kit (FTK), EnCase Forensic Edition, EnCase Enterprise Edition, and Cellebrite Physical Analyzer and Inspector

    • Demonstrated ability to complete required computer forensic documentation: Chain of Custody, Digital Evidence Collection Reports, etc.

    • Experience troubleshooting and learning customized proprietary and third-party software, along with other emerging technologies

    • Knowledge of the accepted standards for digital evidence handling, chain of custody and maintaining data integrity

    • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    • Ability to update, edit or create documentation on Computer Forensics processes and workflows

    • Bachelor's Degree preferably Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

    • Ability to travel up to 10% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

    Preferred

    • Advanced knowledge of PC functions in the Windows environment

    • Working Knowledge of networking, systems concepts, and FTP

    • EnCE, ACE, GCFA, CISA, CISM, CCE, CCCE certifications preferred

    • Experience with software licensing and working with third-party vendors

    • An understanding of principles of forensic integrity in information acquisition, analysis, and reporting

    • Proficiency in UNIX, Linux, Macintosh and Windows operating systems, PC hardware and networking, and network security hardware and software

    • Knowledge and understanding of information systems security; network architecture; general database concepts; document management; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems (MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, etc)

    • Experience in Litigation Support industry process, tools, and technologies
