    We are seeking a full-time Construction Review Technician with 2 years of experience based out of our Waukesha office .

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

    • Inspect the construction of sewer, water, paving and other construction projects to ensure that line and grade, materials and workmanship comply with plans and specifications
    • Prepare accurate daily reports and record drawings utilizing electronic reporting software
    • Provide project information to contractors, project managers and municipal officials
    • Interact with the public answering questions and complaints
    • Recommend solutions to complaints and construction related questions, or elevate to a higher level for resolution

    Qualifications and Skills

    The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience and abilities:

    • Initiative, a positive attitude and attention to detail
    • Skill in interacting using diplomacy and tact with a variety of different people including residents, municipal officials, supervisors, project managers, contractors and laborers
    • The ability to act as an on-site coordinator for construction projects
    • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings
    • The ability to use tools to measure, estimate and verify that project specifications are followed
    • A willingness to be flexible between different project sites and locations
    • A willingness to continue to grow knowledge in industry
    • A willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather
    • A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and personal vehicle insurance
    • An Associate degree preferred, but not required
    • Experience in municipal infrastructure design preferred, but not required
    • Experience in Computer Aided Drafting preferred, but not required
