    Kadiak, a Koniag Government Services company, currently has an opening for an Superintendent with an Top Secret Clearance for a long term assignment abroad. This position will be overseas for an extended period of time. The schedule for this role is 10 hour days, 6 days per week.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all construction activities for a medium sized construction contract.

    • This position supervises construction entry level personnel and/or construction supervisors.

    • Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer's technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems

    • Strong working knowledge of the application of OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities

    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with site security requirements and reporting to Corporate FSO.

    • Attend project progress meetings.

    • Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to customer, management, coworkers, clients, vendors and contractors

    • Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility

    • Make sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer's operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability

    • As directed, fulfill contract requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the team.

    Requirements

    • Top Secret Security Clearance

    • Minimum 5 years experience managing information and personnel security issues at either domestic of overseas sites.

    • Knowledge, skill, and experience with US Construction methods, techniques and standards.

    • Experience working in live facilities & following appropriate safe work practices

    • Basic understanding in MS-Office programs

    • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

    • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

    • Ability to live internationally - assignment may last up to 24 months.

    • Typically degreed, preferably in engineering, security or business field of study with minimum four (5) years of Security experience. Additional experience accepted in lieu of educational requirements.

    • Comprehensive understanding of project management.

    Working Environment & Conditions

    This job operates in a construction environment overseas. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
