Controller

Description

A leading manufacturing company located in the Florence area is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in manufacturing accounting. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will supervise a team of three finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Supervise and mentor a team of three finance professionals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in a controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
