    Description

    This company is the world's leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions. As an organization - they are committed to being an industry leader within HVAC manufacturing. This company is undergoing several different automation projects that include Siemens TIA Portal PLCs. The primary project this Controls Engineer will be dedicated to is a new, automated cell that assembles the inducer housing for the HVAC unit. This cell contains several Fanuc robots and Siemens PLCs. There are also five other cells with Siemens PLCs that you may have to assist with during the contract period.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Program from scratch / troubleshoot Siemens PLCs

    • Determine root cause of cell failures and provide a viable solution

    • Train current engineers on Siemens TIA Portal

    • Bring new ideas and solutions to the automation team

    Required Qualifications

    • Associates degree in engineering

    • Experience with Siemens TIA portal troubleshooting and programming from scratch

    • 4+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
