    The Corporate Security Investigator Support will be responsible for the coordination of the security and protection of the workplace, including staff and contents. The Corporate Security Investigator Support is positioned as the first point of contact for employees, visitors and guests; uses conventional means to validate identity of all personnel, verifies appointments, offers general guidance, building information and directions. May periodically patrol building and grounds, monitors the security of entry/exit ways, investigates building disturbances. May liaise with law enforcement to maintain order and safety of personnel in the event of an emergency. Reports to the Bank Security and Safety Officer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for greeting employees or guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Issues building badges to visitors and maintains appropriate visitors' log.
    • Answers phone in a friendly and proficient manner.
    • Appropriately handles questions and requests for assistance or information; refers more complex questions or requests to the Bank Security and Safety Officer.
    • Directs guests, vendors or delivery services to specific locations within the building.

    Competencies Required

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Demonstrates a high Level of integrity and ethical conduct.
    • Ability to be continuously alert, or aware of surroundings, and pay attention to security details while setting priorities and following up on assignments.
    • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; ability able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
    • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
    • Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public constantly to occasionally depending on assignment or location.

    Minimum Qualifications/Experience: * Minimum of 2 years' experience as a security guard or customer service representative.

    Formal Education & Certification: * High school diploma. * Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    • None.

    Travel

    • 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

    Working Conditions

    • Conditions involve lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds, constantly walking or standing for long periods of time and on various surfaces (i.e., tile, carpet or concrete), occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various tasks or duties, working in inclement weather to patrol building and grounds, and moving quickly if needed for emergency situations; requires constant use of hands and arms to perform work related tasks, constant use of eyes (with or without corrective lenses) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, and view security monitors.
