Credential Coordinator

ONSITE REQUIRED IN DENVER

Part Time at 20 hours weekly

Monday - Friday business hours required (4 hours at 5 days a week or 6 hours at 3 days a week)

Onsite Required at North Suburban Medical Center, DENVER COLORADO

Credentialing Experience strongly desired

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Credentials Coordinator is responsible for performing diversified support duties of considerable responsibility under minimal supervision for the Department Director and/or the Medical Staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Certification preferred (CPCS or CPMSM). If not certified, actively pursuing certification upon eligibility.

• Prefer Associate Degree in Medical Staff Services Science, business or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting preferred.

• Must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing, basic Medical Staff organizational structure, and regulatory agency requirements.

• PC skills.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and under pressure. Excellent phone and public relations skills, ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with all levels of personnel.

• Excellent attention to detail.
