Cryosection Technician - 2nd shift

Second shift opportunity! 12:30pm-9pm

Cryosectioning of frozen tissues to be used in the clinical laboratory setting for research and diagnostic purposes.

Must be available to train on 1st shift for 1-3 months (5am-1:30pm).

Shift differential pay available after training.

The Responsibilities of the job may include the following:

• Histology procedures such as tissue processing, embedding, sectioning and staining of frozen tissues
• Immunohistochemistry and other procedures using manual and automated processes.
• Follow established protocols and procedures

Subject to reference/criminal background check.

Position starts at $16 per hour with a differential after transitioning to night shift.

Requirements:

No experience necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree beneficial
• Open to learning new tasks and skills
• Science background preferred
• Priority given to those with histology, cryosection or lab technology
