    OLM Food Solutions is taking applications for a Customer Solutions Specialist for their Sioux Falls, SD location. This is a full-time, hourly position.

    A Customer Solutions Specialist will be the liaison between OLM Food Solutions and its internal/external customers, giving them the highest degree of customer service. The Customer Solutions Specialist will effectively process orders, upsell, solve customer issues, and document complaints, keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

    Essential Functions

    • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.

    • Accurately process orders, reviews for accuracy and seize all opportunities to upsell products.

    • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research, and document issues and at times providing solutions/alternatives. Directs them to the person able to assist them.

    • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.

    • Monitor order schedules and expedite delivery per customer requests. Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, or transportation to expedite or trace missing orders/items or delays.

    • Maintains detailed files and documentation.

    • Assist in Fundraiser process.

    • Advanced SAP functions as assigned.

    • Complete Driver Paperwork

    • Assist with Private Label and Other Specialized Account Process

    • Train and mentor New Staff

    • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets and goals.

    • Special Projects as assigned.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    Experience and Education Competencies

    • Education and/or Experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two or more years of Customer Service Sales support experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Communication/Language Skills. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) are a must. Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and reports.

    • Problem Solving/Analysis. Social perceptiveness: awareness of other's reactions and understanding of why they react the way they do.

    • Technical Competencies. Experience & knowledge in MS Office products (Excel & Word) required. Ability to 10 key by touch. Knowledge of SAP.

    • Reasoning Abilities. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities.
