Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Fort Lawn, South Carolina. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, providing exceptional customer service, and coordinating with various internal departments. This role is integral to ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our organization.
Process customer orders received, ensuring accurate entry of order details including customer information, quantities, delivery and shipping instructions.
Collaborate with internal departments such as design, sales, quality control, inventory, and manufacturing to resolve any order related issues or discrepancies.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, providing tracking numbers, and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Prepare paperwork and shipments for work orders for all outside finishing and processing treatments.
Work closely with the team to plan and schedule production.
Identify all late and rush orders, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
Close out all jobs after completion by production, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Ensure all samples and production are shipped out to customers in a timely manner.
Utilize skills such as data entry, email correspondence, Microsoft Excel and Word, order entry, and appointment scheduling to carry out tasks effectively.
Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to answer inbound calls and handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
Experience in a call center customer service role
Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve customer service issues
Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and quickly
Demonstrated ability to manage email correspondence professionally
Experience in order entry and scheduling appointments
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively and handle high volume of tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changes quickly
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
High school diploma or equivalent education level required.
