    Our Client is seeking a CSR for a contract opportunity in either Littleton, MA or Plainville, CT. Candidates who have experience in quoting price and delivery, order status, entering orders, working with credit dept, and outside sales will hit the ground running. This position is responsible for effectively handling requests and inquiries from customers and sales force pertaining to orders, quotes, stock availability, shipping specifications, and product information to ensure customer satisfaction.

    Company's salespeople provide the highest levels of technical support in the industry. Customer Service Representatives (Inside Sales) professionally represent the Company to Customers with the knowledge and skills to provide them the product or service they need.

    Contract Duration: 5 months with potential for contract to direct hire

    Qualifications:

    • Good customer service and communication skills

    • Reliable, organized, detailed and focused

    • Industry and sales experienced

    • Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via email

    • Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel

    • Ability to multi-task and manage time well

    • Knowledge of supply chain systems

    • Knowledge of industrial products helpful

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes and take customer orders

    • Order and source products

    • Negotiate sale and purchase prices

    • Proactively generate sales and promote Company products

    • Expedite backorders

    • Assist with pulling inventory and preparing shipments

    • Assist with customer returns

    • Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly

    • Troubleshoot customer concerns.

    Physical Demands:

    This is a largely sedentary role performed on the phone the majority of the time; however, some movement is required. This would require the ability to lift packages, boxes, files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds of weight/force.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position. Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the employee must work 40.0 hours each week.
