Customer Service Representative - Miller, SD

This is a full-time, non-exempt level position.

We are looking for an individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities at our ADM Miller elevator located just west of Miller, SD on Hwy 14.

Essential Job Function:

Role of this position is to assist management, merchandising, operations, & clients within the following roles:

• Inbound/ outbound grain movement

• Weighing and grading grain samples

• Commodity accounting

• Grain settlement

• Client services

• Grain origination & contracting

• Risk management & commodity hedging

• Records retention

• Accounts payable

• Accounts receivable

• Support other facility staff members as needed/required

• Participation in safety programs

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.

• Understanding of accounting practices.

• Knowledge, past training, education, or previous experience with grain market concepts preferred, but not required.

• Proficiency with personal computer and various software packages. Troubleshoot minor computer problems.

• Proficiency with various office equipment. Troubleshoot minor problems.

• Some coursework in office administration/accounting preferred. Prior work experience in the accounting field is advantageous, but not required.

• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.

• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting.

• Initiative and problem solving skills.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.

• Willingness to work overtime or on weekends as requested/needed.
