  • Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in HUNT VALLEY, Maryland, 21030-2061, United States. The role focuses on understanding tax jurisdiction language and involves extensive data entry, document processing, and client support, including setting up new clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of their work.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn and understand tax jurisdiction language to aid in data analysis.

    • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail while performing data entry and document processing tasks.

    • Monitor and log updates in our system related to values assessing jurisdictions and appeal deadlines.

    • Collaborate with the team to pull reports and check what values can be used or tracked in the coming weeks.

    • Take responsibility for payment tracking and ensure all payments are up to date.

    • Facilitate client support by setting up new clients and their properties in our system.

    • Process tax bill submittal and send them directly to the client.

    • Utilize database management skills and Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data.

    • Utilize VLOOKUP and Excel Formulas to streamline tasks and processes.

    • Apply accounting entries knowledge in the context of property tax.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role

    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
