  • Our Opportunity:

    Chewy is seeking a Designated Representative to serve our wholesale operation in Pittston, PA. Our facility is fully dedicated to service veterinarians and the pet parents they serve. As a Designated Representative, you will be committed to providing outstanding service for our veterinarian customers. In this role, you will be an integral leader of the wholesale team and a partner in the overall Chewy eCommerce fulfillment network. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and incredible customer service.

    What you'll do:

    • Register and maintain licensure in all applicable jurisdictions and locations

    • Develop/Implement/Maintain policies and procedures, and standard operating procedures (annual review required)

    • Institute and maintain compliance to all state and federal regulations that are required to operate

    • Build and develop teams both direct and indirect

    • Ensure all facilities are maintained to meet the governing agencies and accreditation standards

    • Ensure adequate security measures are in place

    • Verify trading partners comply with all applicable governing laws and regulations. Maintains records of all transactions of wholesale necessary to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all drugs as required by applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations; ensures legal operation of wholesale, including meeting all inspection and other requirements of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. Includes inbound and outbound.

    • Reporting of losses/shortages and illegitimate product to appropriate regulatory agencies Ensure that any drug or device that is recalled, outdated, damaged, deteriorated, misbranded, counterfeited, suspected of being counterfeited, adulterated, or otherwise deemed unfit for use are handled, documented, and reported properly

    • Ensure adherence to crisis procedures.

    • Support initiatives related to business development, customer service, and operations.

    • Inventory management

    • Manage operations and workflow processes

    • Provide supervision to professional, paraprofessional, and support staff, including training, assigning duties, and performance evaluations.

    • Manage budget and expenses

    What you'll need:

    • The Designated Representative has not been enjoined, disciplined, fined, punished, or the like for violating any federal or state laws regulating prescription drugs or devices.

    • The Designated Representative has not been found guilty, pled guilty, or pled nolo contendere to any criminal offense.

    • Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania, and willing to gain any additional licenses as required.

    • Has a minimum of two years of verifiable full-time managerial or supervisory experience in a pharmacy or wholesale distributor where the Designated Representative's responsibilities included, but were not limited to, record keeping, storage, and shipment of drugs or devices.

    • The Designated Representative has a sound financial history

    • Ability to think and perform strategically and tactically.

    • Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
