  • Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the Metal Fabrication industry, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting desktop and application technologies, maintaining hardware and software, and providing excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • Support a variety of desktop and application technologies such as Dell desktops/laptops, Lenovo laptops, HP Printers, Datamax printers and handheld scanners

    • Handle support for applications and technologies including Trend Micro Antivirus, Citrix, Active Directory, TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, VPN client configuration, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer, Chrome, HTML, Win install, internet/intranet support issues, and Help Desk Incident Management Software

    • Take responsibility for SQL or Microsoft Access database

    • Utilize remote control tools for efficient problem-solving

    • Showcase a strong working knowledge of the Windows OS and Desktop productivity tools such as MS Office

    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels including customers, vendors, peers, business stakeholders and management

    • Work both independently, with minimal supervision and as part of a team

    • Maintain a detail-oriented work ethic with excellent interpersonal communication skills

    • Provide excellent customer service to all clients. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar within the Metal Fabrication industry.

    • Proven expertise in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies.

    • Proficiency in EO/IR systems.

    • Familiarity with Mac Computers and Microsoft Suite.

    • Solid understanding of Active Directory.

    • Experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

    • Demonstrated skills in configuration management.

    • Proven experience in managing deployments.

    • Strong deskside support skills with the ability to provide technical support to non-technical staff.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
