Dietitian Nutritionist II part time

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to provide services for adults and adolescents at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Position will support three treatment center located in St. Paul, Plymouth, & Center City, MN . Position will work ~ 20-24 hours per week with excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide coverage as needed at all three treatment centers and fill in for virtual coverage for our Newberg, OR and Rancho Mirage, CA locations

• Be responsible to conduct monthly patient lectures, group facilitating, and one-on-one patient consultations for a variety of health conditions including: diabetes, liver disease, eating disorders, gastric bypass, malnutrition, and food allergies.

• Be coordinating alternative meal selections for patients with special nutritional needs.

• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;

• Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and/or assist with Food Service Management as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
