Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing is an opportunity to help build a scalable and agile digital marketing program. This position will support Encore's marketing efforts by providing guidance and tactical expertise with respect to marketing automation, web design and maintenance, digital advertising, analytics, and all related technologies, including best practices and process. This role will have significant focus on demand generation and sales enablement as it pertains to the Marketing Sales hand-off, as well as the strategy/tactics required to help produce winnable opportunities for the Sales Team.
Key Job Responsibilities
Web Design and Maintenance
Help lead web design and ensure projects align with Encore's business objectives.
Regularly review and optimize user experience based on client and internal feedback and analysis.
Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; help determine necessary escalation, mitigation, and resolution steps.
Maintain vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, SOWs, onboarding, and deliverables.
Support the development and implementation of marketing and content strategies to attract prospects/customers to the Encore's website.
Digital Advertising and Best Practices
Help implement and maintain best in class strategies that promote Encore's online presence.
Analyze the market for new practices and technologies that will optimize the marketing department's performance and give Encore a competitive edge in the market.
Maintain an expert knowledge of technology trends to better define and communicate the roadmap and rationale for future marketing technology solutions.
Campaign Strategy and Optimization
Work internally and externally to strategize and tactically execute end-to-end, marketing campaigns that attract prospects/customers to the Encore website. This includes content development, lead gen, demand gen, as well as supporting the Sales Team at all stages of the event lifecycle.
Help drive segmentation and client acquisition strategies through the analysis of business data.
Understand and operationalize policy and regulatory requirements (ex. GDPR, CCPA, DPIA, CASL, etc.) within the tech stack.
Evaluate, recommend, and generate support for new marketing strategies and digital marketing tactics that drive lead and demand generation.
Sales and Marketing Alignment
Work with internal stakeholders (ex. IT, Sales, Procurement, Marketing) on new initiatives and projects, including collecting and prioritizing digital business requirements.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Teams to define, develop, and maintain strategic and operational plans related to marketing technology.
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to coordinate and mobilize new technology, strategies, and tactics (ex. Paid social, paid digital, text messaging).
Tech Stack and Data
Help build and deploy marketing automation projects in Oracle Eloqua.
Maintain and improve the MAP (Eloqua) CRM (MS Dynamics 365) integration, including data quality and hygiene strategies.
Help spec and deploy new technology and ensure current tools are being used as intended, including team training.
Help define key marketing metrics and manage the process of packaging these measurements into reports and dashboards to determine overall performance of the marketing team.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
At least 3 - 5 years of related work experience
Advanced knowledge of Eloqua (or other MAP), WordPress, HTML and CSS
Intermediate knowledge of MS Dynamics (or Salesforce), PHP and JavaScript
Proficient in Adobe CS (Dreamweaver) and MS Office
Digital Advertising experience (SEM, Display, Programmatic, Social)
Experience with Google tools (GA4, GTM), hosting, and other marketing technology
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize competing responsibilities.

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
