    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a zero-accident environment, emphasizing safety first in all we do.

    • Core task: Proactively reach out to customers by phone, e-mail and in person to create and maintain user credentials for Caterpillar online applications including ~~~, VisionLink, and Cat Inspect.

    • First point of contact for customers for support with passwords, user credentials, and other back-office issues for Caterpillar applications.

    • Help develop effective processes to track customer usage of Caterpillar applications.

    • Provide backup support for our ~~~ Coordinator for online registrations, set up for access, and support for customers as needed.

    • Coordinate with Product Support Reps and Machine Sales Reps regarding their customers' access needs and requirements for Caterpillar digital applications.

    • Establish business processes which aid customers in their daily engagement of Caterpillar's digital tools and applications.

    • Help create a positive digital experience for Wheeler Machinery's customers.

    • Support and assist in new process improvement needs (where applicable).

    • Help our team achieve various Digital Excellence goals set by Caterpillar.

    • This is a Monday through Friday 8-hour workday position, but some after-hours time will be required.

    • Support other departments within Wheeler with digital and equipment management efforts.

    • This position will require periodic travel to Wheeler branch stores and customer offices/worksites for customer support (with some occasional overnight travel outside of the Wasatch Front).

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to work in a zero-accident environment.

    • Ability to work well within a team environment.

    • Ability to communicate timely, proactively, and effectively in person, over the phone, and electronically.

    • Ability to see continuous improvement opportunities.

    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    • Good organizational skills combined with the ability to effectively multitask.

    • Proficient using Microsoft Office software as well as internet and other applications.

    • Proficient in using mobile devices (iPhone, Android, tablets, etc.)

    • Applicant will be required to safely drive a company vehicle to visit Wheeler branch stores and customer worksites and locations as needed.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Working knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot various Caterpillar software applications.

    • Caterpillar dealership experience.

    • Sales or product support experience in a technology-related field.

    • I.T. Helpdesk or similar digital support experience.
