    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The PRN Lab Director Resource will be responsible for leading project work and demonstrating the value of HealthTrust's Consulting and Advisory solutions for Lab by helping clients improve productivity and decrease costs. This position will be responsible for working independently and with the other members of the Advisory Services team to complete engagement deliverables including analysis, recommendations, and client presentations.

    What you will do in this role includes:

    • Provide leadership and professional consulting services in the area of laboratory, blood bank, pathology and supply chain operations to guide and support member and non-member client's expense reduction strategies.

    • Serve as a clinical and operational subject matter resource for Laboratory consulting offerings.

    • Interact and collaborate with key organizational stakeholders to identify savings opportunities, analyze financial data and develop tools to track savings.

    • Lead client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitate client decision making.

    • Meet with senior executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) to present recommendations and best-in-class strategies and gain buy-in for advisory and implementation services.

    • Lead client engagement activity including assessment, design, and implementation.

    • Produce and provide quality assurance of client deliverables.

    • Identify and lead laboratory, blood bank and pathology standardization, automation, optimization and expense reduction initiatives

    • Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures related to lab and supply cost management including value analysis and product standardization and utilization

    • Interpret an organization's spend profile to identify opportunities for improvement and review of monthly financial reports to determine negative and positive variances.

    • Develop standardized documents, processes, and calculations for use by the supply expense management, value analysis and finance teams to quantify savings

    • Lead client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitate client decision making

    • Meet and build relationships with senior executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) by presenting and discussing industry trends, best in class strategies, and gaining buy in for consulting services.

    **What qualifications you will need:?**

    • College degree with Bachelor of Science in clinical area required.

    • Master's Degree preferred

    • 7-10 years of consulting experience (relevant industry experience may substitute consulting requirement)

    • 7-10 years Laboratory Leadership experience and practice history required.

    • 7-10 years of healthcare procurement, operations, distribution, analysis and standardization required

    • Experience with Lab Information System (i.e. Epic, Meditech, Cerner, etc.)

    • Ability to interface with provider, supplier, distributors and group purchasing organizations

    • Demonstrated ability in large scale change management

    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability

    • Demonstrated sales pursuit management and deliverable creation
