    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do:

    • The Director, Diversity, Equity, and inclusion (DE&I) serves as a strategic leader responsible for championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. This role plays a critical part in shaping our company culture, fostering an inclusive environment, ensuring fair practices across all aspects of our workforce and workplace, and identifying ways to better leverage our diversity to improve business results.

    • The Director of DE&I will serve as a key leader within the HR team and will be responsible for building and implementing the company's strategy to build organization and talent capabilities to meet the needs of the business and to foster a culture and environment that attracts, retains, and leverages the diversity and capabilities of our workforce. The incumbent will serve as a leader, subject matter expert and trusted advisor to the HR community and the entire V2X business and will devise project strategies and implementation in a cost-effective and impactful manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serving as the overall strategic architect of and subject matter expert in DE&I to the business, to include the CHRO, the CEO and other members of the executive leadership team.

    • Developing and implementing the DE&I Strategy aligned to organizational goals.

    • Collaborating with senior leadership to integrated DE&I principles into business practices.

    • Developing and implementing strategies for a better employee experience.

    • Working to address any issues related to potential discrimination, bias, or inequity.

    • Establishing and monitoring diversity metrics by performing data analysis - gathering input from multiple sources and generating insights through information and analytics to guide actions; establish processes to monitor progress through measurable goals and produce presentations.

    • Promoting V2X's brand to generate diverse candidate pipelines by developing communication and gathering information to create the narrative of DE&I and success stories for internal and external distribution, including internal and external websites, articles, social media postings, newsletters, and DE&I annual reports. Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team.

    • Partnering and consulting with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve current operational and future business objectives (e.g., collaborate with Legal and HR to establish guidelines and policies for various DE&I topics as needed).

    • Encouraging and creating employee engagement by organizing events, workshops, webinars, meetings, and training to raise awareness about DE&I. Maintain internal employee sites for collaboration with regular updates. Fostering employee resource groups and affinity networks.

    • Ensuring and promoting inclusive hiring practices by partnering and coordinating action with critical functions such as talent acquisition and development, HR practitioners, and external organizations to advance representation and inclusion in the organization.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

    • Experience:

    • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience preferably in Talent Management, Learning and Development, DE&I, and/or HR Business Partnership design and delivery.

    • Other Requirements:

    • Ability to travel to company and client sites as needed. 10% travel expected.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience:

    • Experience in global and government contracting companies with large-scale and mature corporate organizations.

    Skills and Technology Used

    • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving:

    • Proven data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to leverage data, analytics and insights to report progress, identify opportunities, prioritize actions and measure outcomes of DEI efforts.

    • Business/Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Acumen:

    • Strong business acumen with excellent domain understanding of organization and inclusive talent development.

    • Knowledge of social justice, racial, ethnic, sex, and gender equity and anti-racism, as well as belonging strategies and best practices with an intersectional lens.

    • Ability to intentionally guide, support and leverage leaders and allies to drive execution of strategic DEI plans and culture change efforts (ERGs, etc.)

    • Business Partner/Effective Communication:

    • Proven interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to collaborate and engage key constituents at all levels.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, to include with and for executive leadership.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills required.

    • Collaboration and Teamwork/Influence:

    • Strong project management, change management and leadership skills with experience in successfully leading and collaborating on projects across multiple business functions.

    • Big-picture thinker with experience in collaborating with executive leadership and other functions in building programs and strategies.

    • Ability to provide thought leadership and expertise for the full spectrum of DEI, including program development and delivery, succession planning, strategy, talent attraction and retention, organization design, and change management interventions.

    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive integration of DEI elements into existing programs.

    • Software:

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • Familiarity with HRIS systems and ATS.

    • Technology:

    • Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

    • The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

    • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    • USD $ 170,000 - 200,000

    • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
