    We are offering an opportunity for a Director of Finance to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role entails establishing internal controls, liaising with senior leadership, and communicating with various departments on budget and ROI matters. The successful candidate will lead financial planning, prepare timely reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage a high-performing finance team.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial systems and procedures

    • Liaise with senior leadership to communicate financial and budget matters

    • Lead the financial planning process and prepare timely and accurate reports

    • Ensure regulatory compliance in all financial functions

    • Present financial results and insights to senior management

    • Develop and monitor annual budgets

    • Manage cash flow and implement risk mitigation strategies

    • Provide financial analysis for strategic transactions and evaluate investment opportunities

    • Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

    • Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management

    • Oversee capital management and budget processes

    • Conduct cash flow analysis and oversee financial planning & analysis (FP& A)

    • Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain a high level of knowledge in regulatory requirements and accounting principles.

    Requirements

    • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance leadership role such as Director of Finance

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

    • Demonstrated experience with CapEx

    • Extensive knowledge and experience in managing Accounting Functions

    • Familiarity with Budget Processes is necessary

    • Expertise in Capital Management is required

    • Experience in Cash Flow Analysis is crucial

    • Must have knowledge and experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

    • Proficiency in Financial Reporting is mandatory

    • Must have strong leadership abilities and strategic planning skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

    • Must have the ability to manage and lead a team

    • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; a master's degree or relevant certifications such as CPA are highly preferred

    • Must have strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

    • Must demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity in all work-related actions.
