Fortune 500 Manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Field Electrical Engineer. This position will be based out of Oxford, North Carolina for the first year. Afterwards, this position will be 100% remote with 60% travel throughout the US. The Field Electrical Engineer will manage the development and implementation of equipment capital projects for various manufacturing plants including but not limited to; procurement, installation and commissioning.

The salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $140K, plus an opportunity for a bonus, pension, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities

• Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and customer requirements

• Lead the assigned capital packages related to design, capital requests, procurement (including, scope of works documents, contracts and change orders), budget, schedule, installation and commissioning

• Travel domestically within the U.S. to any other manufacturing plants as required, but will be able to work from home - This position requires travel up to 60%
