    Responsible for assisting manufacturing engineers, maintenance and manufacturing managers with process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Responsible for leading electrical improvement projects. Requires functional interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance organizations.

    The successful candidate should have a proven background in industrial electrical systems. The candidate will be the subject matter expert on all projects requiring modification or upgrades to current facilities electrical system.

    YOUR IMPACT:

    • Lead electrical improvement projects to improve facilities and improve production flow.

    • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair all issues.

    • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.

    • Connect wiring in electrical circuits, panels and networks ensuring compatibility of components.

    • Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.).

    • Fully understanding National Electrical Code, local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.

    • Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.

    • Willing and able to train others in electrical skills, codes, and related topics.

    • Design systems and order parts for electrical systems in the plant.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Licensed Electrician at the Master or Journeyman level

    • PLC experience is a plus

    • Experience with industrial electrical systems

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) with 5 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
