Embedded Software Engineer

Description

• The Software / Embedded Software Engineer will design, build and integrate electronics and software systems in the defense industry.

• The subsystems are networked and electrically powered which will create a focus on networking, systems integration and communication.

• In a lab setting will work closely with other software and electrical engineers on developing and prototyping.

• 50/50 embedded development and generalist software development.

• ITAR Compliance required: must be able to work in Aerospace and Defense Environment

• Will require occasional travel to a test facility to help prototype and test the aircraft

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Embedded Software development

• Familiar coding with c, C++ and Javascript.

• ~~~, embedded systems ST microcontrollers preferred

• Communication protocols such as Ethernet, I2C, CAN also preferred.

• Occasional travel to Victorville (1-2+ times/month)

• Personality: must have good communication and ability to work closely with other engineers.
