Our client in the aerospace industry is seeking a professional to join their team.

Job Title: Engineer I

Location: On site - Waukesha Wisconsin 53186 United States

Pay Rate: $38/hr - $45/hr

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Assignment Duration: Contract x 4 - 16 weeks with the chance to extend or convert to direct hire

Position Overview:

• Perform assembly tests/inspection of transformers at various locations in the assembly plants per established procedures. Monitor conformance to quality standards.

• Perform tests including ratio (variety), resistance (variety), continuity, VFI, CT, and hipot (applied potential) as required per established procedures.

• Inspect unit nameplates, stamp impedance value on nameplates, and secure nameplates to tested units.

• Conduct visual inspection on the interior of the unit upon completion of testing.

• Complete various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.

• Collect various types of data as required per established procedures.

• Understand and follow the EQMS policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Associate of Electrical testing.

• Electrician with familiarity in electrical theory and ability to read blueprints.
