Engineering Technician

Job Description

Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Materials Engineering Technician for a large engineering consulting firm in Carmel, Indiana. This individual will be performing the testing of concrete and soil on a new construction site. The focus will be a large project in Indianapolis, Indiana but you will also support other commercial projects such as apartment complexes, hotels, restaurants, and more.

Day to Day

* Will go onsite to get project details, company vehicle and testing tools

* Meeting with project manager and supervisor to go over days tasks

* Begin testing for all concrete and soil samples

* Documentation of all records, test, and taking samples back to the lab

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves

* Construction experience

* Experience with materials testing of soil and concrete

* Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test

* Ability to read blueprints null
