    This position focuses mainly on flight and mission critical avionics for Commercial and Military aircraft, including the emerging Aircraft Electrification systems.     As an Engineering Electronics Technician you will make impacts in the following ways;

    • Work closely with the design engineers to evaluate, troubleshoot and test new development electronic assemblies and draw from a healthy understanding of electronics principals and problem-solving skills.

    • Perform testing and troubleshoot, prototype circuit board development and fabrication, maintaining lab organization, test equipment maintenance, lab safety advocate,

    • Utilize instrumentation and tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

    • Read and understand technical documentation such as electrical schematics and technical drawings.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Working knowledge of electronic circuits (analog, digital and power) and experience working with a large array of electronic instruments.

    • Associates degree in electrical engineering technology, or similar; or has equivalentexperience.

    • Excellent attention to detail, enjoys solving challenging technical problems, collaborates well and is able to follow written and verbal instructions.

    • Ability to read electrical schematics and to troubleshoot to the component level.

    • Working knowledge of a large array of electronic instruments

    • Must be able to perform fabrication of PWBs, test cables/adapters, PWB modifications.

    • Must be able work productively with little oversight.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Detailed knowledge of various types of circuits, including Digital, Analog and Switching Power Supplies.

    • Software skills for use of WORD, EXCEL PowerPoint, etc.

    • Experience with a PWB creation tool such as Eagle PCB, Circuit Creator or equivalent

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $48200 - $77100

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
