Entry-Level Software Engineer

Leidos Dynetics is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join a talented team within the Weapon System Technologies Department. The department performs radar design, hardware builds, algorithm development, software development, HWIL (hardware-in-the-loop) testing and weapons system analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, project assignments could be focused in one or multiple of the following areas:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software leveraging agile concepts.

• Develop tactical software for Leidos Dynetics developed radars, weapon systems, and HWIL testbeds.

• Develop modeling and simulation and analysis tool packages used to support algorithm development, requirements development, testing, and prototype development of weapons systems.

• Test, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 or higher GPA .

• Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, and network communications,

• Candidates must have solid verbal, written, and visual communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with C++, Python, Linux, Git, and MATLAB are desired.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00
