    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Escrow Assistant. As an Escrow Assistant, you will provide support to the escrow team in processing and closing real estate transactions. This is a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the escrow department.

    salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

    shift: First

    work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

    education: No Degree Required

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    Title Examination and Research

    • Conduct detailed title searches to identify any encumbrances, liens, or other issues that may affect the property's title.

    • Verify property ownership, legal descriptions, and tax information.

    Document Preparation and Review

    • Prepare and review all necessary documentation for real estate transactions, including title commitments, deeds, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.

    • Ensure all documents comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

    Coordination and Communication

    • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to gather necessary information and documents.

    • Provide regular updates to all parties involved in the transaction, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

    Escrow Management

    • Open, manage, and close escrow accounts, ensuring all funds are received and disbursed according to the terms of the sale agreement.

    • Reconcile escrow accounts and prepare accurate settlement statements.

    Issue Resolution

    • Identify and resolve any title or escrow-related issues that may arise during the transaction process.

    • Work with underwriters, lenders, and other parties to clear title defects and facilitate a smooth closing.

    Compliance and Record Keeping

    • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, including RESPA, TRID, and state-specific requirements.

    • Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, documents, and communications.
