    Overview

    IGT is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Engineer and Planner to join our facilities team in Reno, Nevada. This role will report to the IGT Facilities Manager, and will be focused on the Reno facility, however may at times be called on for assistance with gaming sites throughout North America.

    This is a fixed-onsite position, however, may have ability to flex in and out of the office depending on the projects and schedules.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to read and understand building blueprints, create basic high level block plans

    • Collaborate with designers, engineers, trades and contractors to create block plans and schedules

    • Prepare accurate cost estimates, researches and liaises with vendors to obtain quotes.

    • Communicate with stakeholders to develop requirements, scopes of work, and project schedules.

    • Provide and present recommendations to various levels of the company.

    • Provide support and organization in project estimation/management.

    • Track and report on project finances from estimate to actuals.

    • Accountable for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Facilities Engineer and Planner

    • 5+ years of project administration work experience

    • Diploma / Degree or related experience in Architectural Technology, Engineering or Project Management

    • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

    • Excellent mechanical, analytical, and mathematical skills.

    • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong computer and software skills.

    • MS Office suite of applications along with proven ability to quickly learn new applications.

    • Basic proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD and Adobe.

    • Knowledge and use of FM Systems a benefit

    • Knowledge of furniture system design, installation

    • Strong project coordination abilities along with proven experience in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of facility projects.

    • Familiar with industry vendor acquisition practices and contract forms and preparation of proposal and contracts.

    At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,000 - $101,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
