    What you'll do...

    This role is critical in ensuring the successful implementation of Field Service Action Analyst (FSAs) and plays a key part in the overall supply chain management process. If you are a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for supply chain management, we encourage you to apply for the Field Service Action (FSA) position.

    The Field Service Action (FSA) Analyst is responsible for leading Part Supply & Logistics (PS&L) Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities surrounding potential and launched FSAs. They are responsible for handling, escalating, and resolving issues by working cross-functionally with other Ford Departments (within and outside of FCSD) and external entities.

    • Develop & implement part availability strategies to satisfy launch requirements

    • Translate data provided by upstream functions into forecasts that can be used to develop an appropriate inventory plan for the program

    • Coordinate with other PS&L activities (FCSD Purchasing, Product Analyst, STA, etc.) to ensure that appropriate functions are completed to address issues proactively

    • Obtain and communicate plans from suppliers to upstream functions, enabling a coordinated launch effort

    • Communicate with PS&L operations and other stakeholders to ensure there is alignment on the launch/deployment of programs

    • Work to ensure that appropriate part supply is maintained after program launch

    You'll have...

    • Associate's degree or combination of education and equivalent experience

    • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management (Part Supply & Logistics, Material Planning & Logistics, etc)

    • 2+ years of experience using Windows programs (Excel, Word, Access)

    • 2+ years of experience in other Part Supply & Logistics Functions (Operations, Supplier Technical Assistant, Purchasing, Product Analysis, etc.)

    Even better, you may have...

    • Bachelor's degree

    • Knowledge of or the ability to learn current systems (SAP, MMP, Aurora, COPIS, Tracklite, etc.)

    • Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions and reach logical conclusions

    • Ability to demand accountability from all stakeholders

    • Ability to positively affect a team

    • Highly motivated, goal-oriented and self-directed

    • Effective organizational and time management skills required to manage multiple high priority responsibilities concurrently in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills relating to the team and upper management

    This position is a range of salary grades 5-8 .
