In the role of the Finance Senior Manager, you will supervise a team and play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of the business through sound fundamental practices. You will be responsible for a specific business unit, division or product covering all areas of financial and management reporting, planning and analysis. In this role, you'll experience new things, create new opportunities, think beyond your role and make an impact. To support your team, you will develop talent, drive strategic business initiatives, and review financial forecasts, variance reports, and industry drivers as part of the planning process. You will serve as a strategic business partner for leaders, leading strategic initiatives and supporting cross functional teams with high visibility and impact. Ideally, you are fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process and can provide assistance on complex business issues.     Primary responsibilities include

    • Manage monthly financial forecast and close processes, supported by other finance personnel, by establishing processes, reviewing and communicating results, developing ongoing reporting for business and corporate audiences. Provide supporting management reporting information to business partners. Evaluate economic projections and identify key risk and opportunities to long term financial planning.

    • Support line of business leadership in developing updates to the strategic plan for the business as well as the annual budget process.

    • Participate in deployment of Apptio tools across organization in support of budgeting and monthly reporting processes.

    • Development of enhanced metrics and measures in support of business objectives.

    • Support to development of improved ETS cost allocation processes in partnership with LOB business unit finance groups.

    • Relentless focus on process improvements, automation, work rationalization, and development of new and improved delivery methods

    Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

    • 5 - 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or other business process management experience

    • Ability to match financial details with the issue at hand. Ability to work at conceptual level and at the detailed level. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the big picture, while working through the operational details required to construct a forecast / budget

    • Able to work in team environment with direct management and indirect influence skills required

    • Strong finance background coupled with advanced process management skills

    • Highly proficient in Excel, Essbase, Oracle financials and other MS Windows platforms.

    • Knowledge of Apptio IT Business Management suite of products a plus.

    • Ability to present complex subjects in a clear and concise manner at both the team and executive levels. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    • A proactive, action-oriented approach to problem solving.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics is required

    • MBA/Advanced degree preferred.

    Hours. & Work Schedule

    • Hours per Week: 40

    • Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM (hybrid-3 days in office/2 days home office)
