    • Current Nurse's Aide Certification in the State of Texas (for CNA position). Caregiver position certification not mandatory.
    • Preferably one (1) year of experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in hospitals, nursing homes, or home health agencies.
    • Reliable transportation essential for extensive geographic coverage. Must provide valid and current auto liability insurance, if applicable.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide personal healthcare and related services to clients in their residences.
    • Maintain a safe, clean environment; work amicably with patients and families, and share observations/problems with the supervisor.
    • Operate under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the staff Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager and/or appropriate supervisor.
    • Assist clients in achieving maximum self-reliance, maintain skin integrity, infection control, and assist with toileting.
    • Handle emergencies, provide assistance with self-administered medications, and document appropriately.
    • Uphold clients' rights, including ethics and confidentiality of care.

    Position Summary:

    The Caregiver offers personalized healthcare and related services to clients in their homes, operating under the staff Registered Nurse and the Nurse Manager's supervision.

    Requirements:

    • Successful completion of a nursing assistant course, CHHA, PCA LNA HCA, or similar. Even if you lack formal certification but are dependable and have cared for a loved one, we'll train you.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
    • Exceptional communication skills, listening abilities, and detail-oriented time management.
    • Background checks required; we maintain a drug-free workplace.

    Support Areas:

    Compensation:

    $15 to $18 per hour.

    Schedule Options:
