FP& A Analyst

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an FP& A Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be a crucial member of our team, providing financial and strategic support directly to the CFO and CEO. This role is within the telecom industry and will involve working with a new ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial trends and market conditions

• Report on these trends and conditions to inform strategic decisions

• Provide support during the implementation of a new ERP system, ideally with Great Plains / MS Dynamics experience

• Utilize PowerPoint and Excel to present financial data and insights

• Engage with private equity (PE) stakeholders and manage associated tasks

• Conduct cost analysis and manage budget processes

• Handle accounting functions and expense reporting

• Utilize skills in Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, CapEx, and ERP Solutions

• Work on financial planning and analysis (FP& A) tasks

• Support the CFO and CEO directly in their strategic and financial roles

Requirements - Proficiency in using Adaptive Insights and Anaplan for financial planning and analysis tasks.

• Experience in managing CapEx (Capital Expenditure) is necessary.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools and ERP Solutions.

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Budget Processes.

• Ability to perform Cost Analysis and manage Expense Reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy standards.
