Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are on the hunt for a diligent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team located in New Brunswick, New Jersey area. The role involves comprehensive accounting duties, from managing accounts payable and receivable, to handling collections and month-end duties. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, has a solid accounting background, and is comfortable working with Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Run the standalone department and manage all accounting functions

• Utilize Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP for daily operations

• Exhibit a broad understanding of accounting with 7+ years of experience

• Collaborate with the external accountant for tax-related tasks

• Manage a variety of financial tasks including expenses, depreciation, debits, and credits

• Handle collections for small businesses we sell to

• Carry out full month-end duties

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Manage bank reconciliations and billing functions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook for various tasks

Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations

• Experience with billing functions
