General Labor

Description:

Operate machinery using both manual and automatic controls

Observes threading of strip through mill processes and progressively adjusts tooling and associated mechanicals as required with minimal scrap/waste

Produce quality product to meet output cost standards

Perform and record quality checks

Maintain a safe and organized work area

Report any issues to supervisor

Assist with other areas of production as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus

Must have attention to detail

Must be able to perform basic shop math

Must be able to perform basic tasks on a computer

Ability to read a tape measure and be trained on the use of gauges, calipers and other measuring instruments

Must be able to work safely, watch out for the safety of others and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
