  • Job Summary

    Join an established and nationally recognized multidisciplinary clinical and research team led by Christa Lese Martin, PhD, and David H. Ledbetter, PhD, at Geisinger's Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI), in collaboration with the University of Florida, Jacksonville. We seek talented clinical and research trainees to work on one or more NIH-funded projects investigating genomic etiologies of neurodevelopmental psychiatric disorders, including autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and schizophrenia.     Job Duties

    • Participate in multidisciplinary team research related to specific projects or initiatives

    • Develop research protocols and work plans under the mentorship of a principal investigator

    • Expand knowledge and skills related to genomic analysis of large datasets

    • Present research findings at meetings and scientific conferences

    • Cultivate relationships with external clinical, academic, and research collaborators

    • Conducts research related to specific project or initiative.

    • Gathers, summarizes, records and interprets data obtained from research projects and initiatives.

    • Plans subsequent work with review and approval of principal scientist and investigator.

    • Develops research protocols.

    • May instruct others in area of expertise.

    • May present research results at internal and external scientific venues.

    • Interprets and follow policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines.
