    Job Description:

    The Pharmacy Resident is responsible to provide consultative or direct pharmaceutical care as a member of the health care team in the acute and/or ambulatory care setting. This individual is expected to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate pharmacotherapy to ensure effective, safe, and economic patient care. The Pharmacy Resident will assist the Pharmacy Manager and Clinical Pharmacy Coordinators in the development of Pharmacy services and participate in the clinical training of pharmacists, students, and other health professionals. The Pharmacy Resident will also participate in the technical and clinical functions of the unit dose drug distribution and sterile product preparation processes within the Department of Pharmacy.

    Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

    PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required, Pharmacy Intern/Resident upon hire required. Pharmacist within 90 Days required. If pursuing licensure by examination, intern permit required upon hire. If pursuing licensure by reciprocity, applicant must have an intern permit within 30 days of hire. Pharmacist licensure must be obtained by November 1st of year hired.

    Salary Range:

    $18.42-$27.62 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
