Hardware Systems Integration Engineer - Apple Watch

Do you want to help create the next great Apple Watch? The Apple Watch Hardware Product Group is seeking an enthusiastic electrical engineer for the Apple Watch HW Engineering Team. This is a design engineering position that entails working with cross-functional groups to continually push the envelope of technology implemented in mobile device products. The ideal candidate has a consumer electronics background and has designed high volume, low power, high quality products.
Key Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience
Must have great EE fundamentals.
Must have hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification or manufacturing support.
Must have experience in one or more of the following areas: system integration, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially USB, SPI, I2C and UART), analog integration, audio design and measurement, power electronics design, sensor design and integration & low power design.
Broad experience with low power low noise designs preferred.

Description
In this role, you will engage with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and tradeoffs, and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems. Day-to-day responsibilities will consist of schematic capture, PCB layout design, prototype bring up and debugging, functional verification, signal characterization, hardware bug tracking, and working with and managing suppliers/manufacturing partners.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.
