    We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Health Information Management Supervisor/Certified Coder to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of care while optimizing financial performance under the Prospective Payment System guidelines.

    Your Role:

    • Ensure adherence to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
    • Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement processes and committees.
    • Uphold confidentiality and security of medical information per HIPAA guidelines.
    • Provide oversight, guidance, and workflow management within the HIM department.
    • Develop educational materials and conduct instructional programs for healthcare personnel.
    • Code medical records according to professional standards and guidelines.
    • Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Coordinate assessments to ensure compliance with Medicare and other payer requirements.
    • Analyze patient data to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing reimbursement.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and billing departments to ensure accurate billing.

    What You'll Need:

    • Clinician licensed in the state of Texas, preferably an LVN, highly desirable.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Certification in ICD-10 Coding required.
    • Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a PPS-related role.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Comprehensive understanding of PPS regulations and payer systems.
    • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality care and ensuring regulatory compliance.
