Description:
The Heavy Equipment Operator(HEO) will support remediation work that will include constructions tasks such as clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion control materials, soil excavation, grading, dewatering, backfilling, truck scaling, equipment decontamination, and restoration efforts. The operators primary role is to operate Construction Equipment (Excavator, Backhoe/Loader, Dozer, Skid-Steer, and Roller Compactor) to carry out above projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have 10+ years experience operating (excavator and dozer)
-Remedial construction techniques to include but not limited to:
-UST closure projects
-Dig & haul projects
-Treatment system installations
-Soil mixing
-Plant decommissioning
-Demolition
-Backfill installation and compaction and slope construction.
-Benching/shoring requirements.
-Site controls to include erosion controls, dust mitigation, and site security
measures.
-Equipment and personnel decontamination procedures.
-Elevation, grade control and GPS guided heavy equipment.
-Rigging and lifting requirements.
